Two more releases from North Star, including our first review of spirit produced at Annandale distillery.

This years Kilkerran 8yo releases features the longstanding sherry casks, alongside a rarer fully bourbon matured version. It's a battle of bourbon vs. sherry from this Campbeltown distillery.

We were lucky enough to taste a selection of Society Laddies from the 60's, 80's 90's and 2000's and wanted to share our thoughts.

With these two casks only releasing a total of 175 bottles, we're lucky to have been able to try these ultra rare Dornoch bottlings.

Two mid-teens Glen Scotia's, an unpeated refill bourbon and a heavily peated oloroso finish, we're in for a treat.

As big Mortlach fans, we think the sweet spot is around 15 years old, so we're pitting a Diageo special release against a single sherry cask to see which shows the best of the beast of Dufftown.
