We've got a couple of Ardnamurchan's up for review today, including the new release for the Independent Whisky Bars of Scotland.

We're looking at a couple of Islay malts from award winning independent bottler, North Star Spirits.

Two casks from North Star Spirits, one fully matured in oloroso, the other only having a short finishing period. Will we prefer the sherry bomb, or will finish give better balance to the spirit?

Independent Caol Ila's are in no short supply, but they tend to represent great quality and value in the Islay whisky market, so how do these two single casks stack up?
