It's always a treat to review these handpicked casks from Jim McEwan, so we're excited to see what the 7th release of his signature series holds...

We're excited to look at a 31 year old unnamed (cough, Laphroaig, cough) Islay from Master of Malt's own bottle range.

Cadenheads have released a new range of whiskies to compliment their Original Collection. These "Enigma" whiskies are unusual, hard to quantify or perhaps even slightly contradictory (their own words!). All they say is that they're good.. so we're looking forward to finding out if that's true.

August usually marks a new release from Springbank, and this year is no exception. We're looking at the 2023 releases of Springbank 18 and 21 in todays reviews.

Fragrant Drops have been a newer IB that is sitting high on our list after their first few releases, so we're excited to try their newest Caol Ila & North British.

It's always a pleasure to try single cask Ardbeg, and even more of a pleasure to try two of them side by side, a recent Whisky Sponge release and a '93 Cadenheads bottling.
