We're beginning the week with two single cask Caol Ila's, one from a well established independent bottler and the other from a slightly lesser known one.
Cadenheads have released a new range of whiskies to compliment their Original Collection. These "Enigma" whiskies are unusual, hard to quantify or perhaps even slightly contradictory (their own words!). All they say is that they're good.. so we're looking forward to finding out if that's true.
Ardbeg have begun a new series of bottlings that will feature 'experimental' single malts matured in cask types that are new to the distillery.. is there a reason why these haven't been used before?
